Mission Statement

“In Grace, With Hope, Striving to do God’s Will through Worship, Fellowship, Study, and Service.”

Brookfield Presbyterian Church (BPC) adopted this as our vision statement after a lengthy “Discerning our Future” study done with all members invited to participate. To help achieve our vision, we are working at putting the following goals into action:

• Cultivate a caring and inclusive atmosphere in all church activities, in which members and guests feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged as God’s people;

• Provide opportunities to serve God through worship in the Reformed Tradition that is faithful, thought-provoking, creative, and joyful, while helping to nurture our on-going faith journeys;

• Increase the amount of time given, the talents shared, and the funds contributed to support the work of the church;

• Partner with families to establish a strong foundation for the children and youth of the church;

• Foster a perspective in the part of the members and leaders, led by the Holy Spirit, which anticipates and implements necessary changes constructively and proactively;

• Strengthen the commitment to mission projects by identifying and partnering with outside agencies.
