  • Outdoor Campfire Service – August 2010

    An evening Outdoor Campfire Worship has been scheduled for Saturday, August 21st starting at 7:30 pm near the Myers Memorial. We are planning for this to be a nice alternative and also a special time for fellowship and reflection with one another. Mark the date on your calendar, and plan to join us for worship, outdoors, August 21st.

  • God’s People in Prayer – August 2010

    Each month, we rotate through the alphabet as we hold our member families up in prayer. Copies of the Monthly Prayer Calendar for August are available in the narthex. If you wish to have the prayer calendar emailed to you, please send your request via email to bpchurch@bizwi.rr.com. A weekly prayer list continues to be printed in the bulletin.

  • Volunteer at the Cathedral Center Overflow Shelter

    BPC is scheduled to help at the Cathedral Center Overflow Shelter on Sunday, August 8th. Volunteers can meet at church to carpool to the Shelter.There they will assist shelter staff, provide a healthy snack and make sandwiches for the next day.Volunteers are reimbursed from the mission budget for the cost of the snacks. Please talk with Mission Committee Chair, Bruce Bush about helping the homeless women and children needing a warm, hospitable place to stay.

  • Give Help and Receive Produce from the Garden of Eatin’

    Following worship on Sunday mornings you will have an opportunity to get fresh produce from our garden. Your cash donations will be given to the Waukesha Food Pantry, along with any remaining garden items. Help Head Gardener, John Riedmaier keep our garden growing by assisting with weeding, watering and staking the tomato plants.

  • Thank You to the Milwaukee Presbytery

    In a weekly e-news from the Presbytery office, we received information about the released PC(USA) report: “A Giving Report of the Top Ten Presbyteries for 2009.” The Presbytery of Milwaukee is named in three of eight categories. We give thanks to God for our ability to be a part of a faith community that continues to make a difference in peoples lives. We give thanks to God for all congregational members in the Presbytery of Milwaukee (and all presbyteries); their generosity has greatly impacted peoples lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
