Opportunities to Serve
The following are the operating committees of the church. All committees receive their direction from and are responsible to the Session.

Stewardship and Finance
The Stewardship Committee is responsible for planning, creating, promoting, and running the program to encourage members to fulfillment through their time, talents, and treasures.Planning and Review
The Planning and Review committee is a standing committee of Session responsible for assisting the Session with long range planning and vision, effective organization, and leadership development. The committee may also provide oversight for short term, ad hoc projects as requested by the Session.Membership
The membership Committee is responsible for growing the membership of our church, and maintaining current membership through outreach and evangelism. The membership committee has specific responsibilities including this web site, maintaining our picture board and name tags, running the after church coffee hour, hosting inquirer classes for people interested in joining the church and creating and maintaining our membership brochures. In addition to that, the membership committee works with other committees on special projects such as large outdoor worship services, celebrations and social events.Mission
We are a mission oriented congregation. In addition to giving money to mission projects, we offer hands-on opportunities. We participate both locally and internationally. We offer mission trips for both youths and adults. Members may volunteer or be invited to serve. Our mission work has benefited such programs as the Waukesha Food Pantry (Numerous donations of money and the Gardern of Eatin’ food), the St. Gall’s Meal Program (Casseroles and salads for a meal once a month), the Red Cross Overflow Shelter (Once a month serve a snack and pack lunches for residents), the Penfield Children’s Center (Art supplies drive and donations), CROP Walk and Relay for Life.Worship
The Worship Committee works with the pastor to ensure scriptural guidance for worship, the heritage of the Presbyterian Church and the needs and particular circumstances of the congregation. Members are invited to serve by the Chair of the Committee, generally an elder.Christian Education
Our mission is to provide opportunities for study of the Bible and Christian issues for all ages of our church family on Sunday morning and at other times of the week. Areas to serve in Christian Educational ministry include CE committee member, teacher, confirmation mentor, facilitator, behind-the-scenes assistant, nursery assistant, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Pageant, etc. Read more about our Christian Education programs.Property
The Property Committee is responsible for the care, repair, and maintenance of the Church building and its facilities, defines projects to be done, designates “work days” and organizes volunteers for work not required by professional contractors.Nominating
The Nominating committee is elected by the congregation to select and recruit members of the congregation for leadership roles of Elder and Deacon as vacancies occur. It also nominates qualified Auditors to complete the annual financial audit of church books, and selects an initial slate of members to serve the next Nominating committee.
